Dr Luke Feeney has led, managed, lectured, trained, and consulted on healthcare quality, risk and patient safety management, knowledge and information management, in Europe, the Middle East, and the USA.
He is an internationally certified ISO/IEC 27001 (Information Security Management Systems) Lead Auditor. He has served as Director of Risk, Audit and Safety in the National Maternity Hospital, Dublin, Director of Quality & Accreditation / Program Director and Consultant with the Royal College of Surgeons (Bahrain and Dubai), Information Systems Manager with the Dublin Dental University Hospital, and Director of Dental Computing, Software and Training with the Southern Illinois University of Dental Medicine in the USA.
He has consulted for the World Health Organisation in the field of risk management. Luke holds a Professional Doctorate (healthcare, risk, incident, and audit management) from the University of Sunderland and a MSc (quality and safety in healthcare management) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
